Created by SensationALL’s Occupational Therapists, this structured programme consists of 5 modules to help youngsters develop vital coping strategies and techniques that build resilience and confidence for dealing with everyday situations.

About the programme
Chill-oot! has helped many school-aged children and teenagers become aware of their emotions and behavioural triggers, resulting in them being happier, calmer and more in control. The impacts on family life can also be significant and our home resources enable you to support your child in between sessions.
Following demand from repeat attendees we have created 5 new modules to focus on different elements of self-regulation suitable for individuals at all stages of development. The programme of modules enables us to support your child over a prolonged period of time which ensures techniques and strategies become routine.
Each of the 5 modules are based on a psych-educational approach to develop self-awareness, regulation skills and emotional literacy by equipping youngsters with personalised coping strategies to use on a daily basis to better cope with the world around them.
Modules do not have to be completed in a particular order but for full benefit we recommend attending the whole programme.
Group are small with numbers capped according to the needs of individual attendees. Modules are 4-week blocks of 45 minute sessions per week (except Magic which is an 8-week face-to-face programme).
Each session allows for self-expression and we encourage attendees to share experiences and practice listening to others.
All modules include:
- relaxation exercises and/or breathing techniques
- exclusive materials from GoZen
- activities to increase emotional awareness

During the covid situation we are operating virtually and sessions are via secure video call.
Who is Chill-oot! for
There is no set age limit for attending Chill-oot! – it is ideal for school-age children, teenagers and even young adults (as long as they have basic communication skills and can attend independently without a parent/carer present).
We even offer Chill-oot! sibling sessions (usually during school holidays).
